| Plenty of surface activity last week-black hoppers, daddies and buzzers the best patterns. Gene Hale, one taken and six released on black and brown buzzers. James Pugh, one taken and six released on daddies(best to 4lb). Roy Davies, three fish to 8lb and three released on hoppers. |

| Harder fishing last week at Cwm Hedd-soaring temperatures and cloudless skies saw most fish taken on the bottom. Rob Edwards: one taken and four released on a bloodworm. Russel Jones: one taken to 4lb and six released onĀ goldhead damsel. Mark Jones: three taken to a total weight of 8lb on a black fritz. James Pugh: three taken and two released on a black hopper. |

| Rising water temperatures last week saw trout being taken on lures, both on the bottom and midwater. On cloudier days and in the evenings, a lot of surface activity was reported, with dry flies proving most productive. Mark Goodman, one taken and ten released on black buzzers and damsels-best fish to 51/2lb. Gene Hale, one taken and nine released on olive damsel and buzzer. Richard Groves,one taken and nine released on cats and montanas.
TAPP will be holding an open day at Cwm Hedd on Sunday 13th June.
